At the end of May 2024, the third BlueMissionBANOS innovation cycle opened with the Blue Economy Science Summit in Oostende, Belgium, hosted by the Flanders Marine Institute VLIZ and Blauwe Cluster.
At the Summit representatives from science, industry and policy met to discuss the game-changing aspects of digitization in the blue economy. Under the theme of “The Digital Sea”, the event offered a dynamic platform for networking, knowledge exchange, and active participation in shaping the future of the blue economy.
